BACKGROUND STATEMENT:
Our family has been involved in adoption for many years. Over the years we have been asked many times about the adoption of our son, Elijah. One of the main things brought up is the cost of adoption. Yes, adoption is costly. We have seen so many families with the desire to adopt, who feel as though they cannot move forward because the cost is too cumbersome. I, Tanya, have always wanted to start an adoption fun run to help raise funds for families pursuing adoption, however, the right time has not been possible until now. We were talking about fund raising ideas for our own personal adoption, when the idea of a fun run evolved into SOLE 2 SOUL. We are excited at the idea of this being an annual fund raising event to assist other families while in the adoption process.
MISSION STATEMENT:
* To increase awareness of adoption and to establish a base of operations that will allow us to hold an annual SOLE 2 SOUL run/walk.
VISION STATEMENT:
To provide financial assistance to families with completed home studies in the adoption process.
